Business Students Compete and Win at International Marketing Competition
Emmitsburg, Maryland – Mount St. Mary’s University Business students competed and won at the Annual Green Apple International Advertising Competition 2013 hosted by South Ural State University in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
Submitting entries in the International Division, members of Mount St. Mary’s University Business 306: Advertising and Promotions course faced students from Clark University, USA; Classical Private University, Ukraine; Russian-British Institute of Management, United Kingdom and Shandong Institute of Business and Technology in China.
“On the Global Stage, our Mount students were stars,” said Cyd Maubert, lecturer at the Richard J. Bolte Sr., School of Business. “We are consistently proud that our students' creativity and a solid knowledge of marketing strategy is recognized as being a cut-above the rest.”

Best Slogan: John Dabbs, C ’15 for “Ford F150 Ecoboost”
Though the Mount has successfully competed in the Green Apple Awards in the past, 2013 marks the first year students enrolled in the Mount’s Accelerated Adult program competed and won.
