“What’s notable is our leap from 26th to 22nd in the rankings in the U.S. News and World Report’s list. Powell.
According to U.S.News and World Report, rankings are based on widely accepted indicators of excellence as retention and graduation rates and the strength of the faculty and this year graduation rate performance was more heavily weighted. The guide for parents, grandparents and students based its recommendation on academics, governance, spiritual life, student activities and residence life, i.e., how well it “embraces the Catholic mission in all facets of campus life.”
The Mount, founded in 1808 is the nation’s second-oldest Catholic university and offers a rigorous educational experience rooted in the liberal arts that provides students with depth, substance and success.
