Public Safety

The Mount St. Mary's University Department of Public Safety is located in the Visitor Center near the intersection of Old Emmitsburg Road and Annandale Road. The primary responsibilities of this 24 hour service oriented department is to provide a safe and secure environment in which the business of the University can be conducted. The Public Safety Department's main duties include responding to emergencies, physical security, fire safety, crime prevention, and parking and traffic control. Visitor information and assistance is always available.

Parking

The Conference and Special Programs staff, in coordination with Public Safety, will identify appropriate on campus parking for conference attendees. Conference/event attendees who park their vehicles in other than designated areas are subject to ticketing and/or towing. Overnight guests will be provided with parking passes at registration.
