Highlights of our 2008 – 2009 Annual Fund Campaign

Reunion class challenge winners

Each year, the Mount Annual Fund hosts a friendly competition between all reunion classes.  The competition pits each class against one another to see which class can raise the most support and which class can encourage the highest participation.  Congratulations to the Class of 1954, winner of the participation challenge and the Class of 1964 (pictured above), winner of monetary challenge!

Excellent job, C’54 whose participation was inspiring at 67%.

Congratulations to the C’64 who raised an astonishing $355,036!

To recognize the achievements of these two classes, their class flags will be displayed proudly at the entrance of Patriot Hall.  Additionally, their class years will be inscribed on a plaque along with past winners as a permanent reminder to students, parents and visitors of our loyal and supportive Mounties.

Class of 2009 Senior Class Gift

Not only do our alumni make a significant impact on the Mount, but so do our seniors.  This year, the Class of 2009 raised an unprecedented $41,000!  The money was raised in memory of Nicole Spencer, a fellow classmate who passed away in a tragic car accident during the summer of her senior year.  An endowed scholarship has been established in her honor.  Once fully funded, the scholarship will be given to an incoming freshman who has indicated an interest in studying elementary education and has shown a devotion to community service.

The Class of 2009 also carried on the tradition of placing a granite stone in the senior walkway.  (pictured below)  The tradition was started by the class of 2006.

CLASS AGENTS

Our success comes from the dedication of our Class Agents.  Without their support and assistance, we would not be able to reach our goals and have a successful annual fund.  Congratulations to our 2008-2009 Class Agents:
