Are You Doing Your Part?

The generosity of alumni, parents and friends is crucial in assisting with the immediate needs of the Mount. Your annual fund gift makes a real difference to all who learn and teach here. Dollars raised through the Annual Fund give the Mount the flexibility to respond to challenges and meet its greatest needs. One student educated in the Mount tradition can positively affect the lives of thousands.

Here's what a few graduating seniors have to say about their Mount education:

Ryan Cleary, a chemistry major and pre-med student writes: “Once I depart the Mount, I will greatly miss the growth it has pushed me to achieve. I pray that my next institution will fulfill my expectations to one tenth of the degree the Mount has.”

Eddie Wright, a theology and sociology major, notes: “My career goal is to remain in academic life and to ultimately receive my Ph.D. and become a Vice President at a Catholic University.”

Sarah Ramsburg, a math major with a minor in secondary education, tells us “The education program at the Mount was wonderful! My internships were invaluable. My professors and advisors were knowledgeable, helpful and inspiring. I found a job quite easily.”

Finally, Courtney Jenkins, a business major concentrating in marketing and french, says: “The Mount prepared me for my career by helping me to become more well-rounded and encouraging me to challenge myself and always do my best. I have taken many courses in various disciplines and have taken a lot of courses that have taught me very practical and important things. Because of this, I feel better prepared to enter the business world and the “real world” in general. Thanks so much!”
