Thanks to all our supporters! What an incredible year for the Annual Fund. In 2008-2009, we raised over $2 million in unrestricted support!

The generosity of alumni, parents and friends is crucial in assisting with the immediate needs of the university. Your annual gift makes a real difference to all who learn and teach here.

Tuition and fees cover just 73% of the full cost of a Mount St. Mary’s education. The difference, in part, is made up through contributions from alumni and parents like you. The Annual Fund allows Mount St. Mary’s to fund programs and areas currently possessing the greatest needs—and there are many.

Here are just a few of the important areas where your gifts have an impact:

• Attracting and maintining top-notch faculty.
• Creating new and innovative curricula and programs.
• Offering scholarships and need-based financial aid to deserving students.
• Refurbishing classrooms and laboratories and equipping them with the necessary tools and supplies.
• Keeping our residence halls and community comfortable and safe.
• Keeping our library up-to-date with the information our students need to enhance their educational experience.
