Checkout Expectations

All students, including graduating seniors, must completely empty their rooms of their belongings before checking out. See Checkout Options page for more information on proper checkout procedures. Any items left will be discarded, and residents will be charged (click here to view FAQs for more details). Dumpsters will be placed in the vicinity of the residence halls for trash disposal. All students should throw away the trash in the dumpsters provided before checking out of their room/apartment.

Preparation of your Room/Suite/Apartment
All rooms must be cleaned, swept, wiped down and mopped. This includes floors, desks, dressers, closets, cabinets, microfridges, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, walls, ceilings, etc.  Residence Life Staff will have limited cleaning supplies for students to use. The furniture in all rooms must be reassembled, if necessary, and rearranged back to the original August setup.

Express Checkout (Envelope/Form shown below)- Receive from RA or Residence Life Office.
 If you do not sign up with an RA for RA Regular Checkout by May 11, 2010, you will need to utilize the Express Checkout Option.
 
 
 
Regular RA Checkout (Envelope/Form shown below)- Receive from RA or Residence Life Office.
Must sign up by May 8, 2012 to utilize this checkout option.
 

Damage Responsibility Form
The Damage Responsibility Form is available online by downloading it below or from your RA. The purpose of the form is to take responsibility for any damage in the room to avoid everyone being charged for damages.

Any damages not listed on the Damage Responsibility Form that are found during check out will be divided up among the residents of the room/suite/apartment. The cost associated with repairing the damage(s) will be divided up and charged to each resident.
