Housing applications will be available in April 2017 through Symplicity Residence online housing system.
*The online Summer Housing Applications will only display to students who have paid the summer school deposit with the Accounting and Finance Office. Please wait 4 business days after making your deposit before attempting to apply for housing.
Summer Housing Applications
Applications Available: April 2017 through Symplicity Residence
Applications Due: May 17, 2017
Any requests for summer housing after that date should be emailed to the Office of Residence Life.
Summer Housing Details
Mount Summer housing is assigned on a first come, first serve basis and is not guaranteed due to limited space.
Summer Housing Location: DuBois Hall
Summer Housing Costs: $750 per session, which includes a $360 Flex Meal Plan (**Subject to change each year)
Students requesting to live on campus for both Summer Sessions must complete and submit the Summer Session I and II applications.
Mount Summer students must move completely out of their Spring 2017 housing assignments by May 12 at 3 p.m. and make alternative living arrangements until the Summer Session I housing move-in dates indicated below. Exceptions to this policy can be made by the Residence Life Office but all requests must be received no later than May 1, 2017. Students requesting an exception to this policy may email the Office of Residence Life.
► Undergraduate Summer Session I Housing *2016 DATES
Move-in: Mon., May 30 - please pick up keys from Public Safety
Move-out: Fri., July 1 between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and please return keys to Public Safety
► Undergraduate Summer Session II Housing
Move-in: Tues., July 5 - please pick up keys from Public Safety (you may move in July 4th as well)
Move-out: Fri., Aug. 5 between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and please return keys to Public Safety
► Special Education Summer Session Housing
Move-in: Mon., May 16 - May 17 between 5 p.m.-8 p.m. in Public Safety (specific dates will be emailed to students)
Move-out: Tues., May 31 between 5 p.m.-8 p.m. in Public Safety (must do express checkout)
*** Students must move out of their summer housing assignment on the designated move-out dates and make alternative housing arrangements between the end of Summer Session II and Fall 2017 Move-in on Sunday, Aug. 20.***
Exceptions to this policy can be made by the Residence Life Office but all requests must be received no later than July 21, 2017. Students requesting to stay on campus due to official University commitments (athletics, student employment, etc.) or personal reasons (home is more than 500 miles away), may submit a Fall Early Arrival Interim Housing request through the Symplicity Residence system.
