New Student Housing Application Steps
Below you will find step-by-step directions on how to complete and submit a housing application through the Mount St. Mary's University Symplicity Residence system. Students looking for information on selecting roommates should look at the Roommate Matching page. Information is also available for Special Needs Housing.
* If you log into Portal and see your placement as "Basil Hall 999," please note that this is only a place holder and not your actual assignment for the fall semester. This information will be changed when your housing assignment has been finalized in August 2014 and will be sent to your Mount email account.

Step-by-Step Housing Application Directions
► Step 1: Log-in to the Mount St. Mary's University Symplicity Residence Housing System
Log-in to theSymplicity Residence Housing System using your Mount email and password.

► Step Two: Complete the Housing Application
Click on "Get Started" to begin your application. Complete the first section with your personal information then fill out the Roommate Compatibility Questionnaire. The Roommate Questionnaire will identify your preferences in your roommate profile section. More information on selecting roommates can be found on the Roommate Matching Page.
► Step Three: Finalize and Submit the Housing Application
Read the Terms and Conditions of the Housing Contract. Once you agree you will be asked to review your application and save. We recommend that you print your application and the housing contract terms for your records. To complete the process click "SUBMIT APPLICATION" to finalize your application.
