Registration   - Trip registration will be done on a first come, first served basis. Trip space is limited and demand is high, so early registration is essential to guarantee your spot. To sign up, payment must be made in full by cash, check or Mount Money.  Stop by CRUX's office, known as the Underground, to sign up anytime Monday - Friday between 12:00 - 6:00.  Please print and fill out the forms below.

Fees    -   Due to CRUX's "in house" programming it does with its own equipment and volunteer staff, CRUX is able to share its style of fun adventures at a minimum cost to its students.  Nominal fees, however, will be charged for the Excursions to help offset: the operational costs of running the trips, the cost of gear depreciation, and the expense of staff training.

Experience Level   -  No Experience will be necessary to go on any trip unless specified!

Gear   -  For all trips, skill-specific gear as well as group gear will be provided by CRUX. In addition, participants may be required to bring other personal gear, for which a list will be provided. Close-toed shoes and raingear are mandatory for all trips.

Food   -  Food will be provided for all overnight trips. Day trips may require participants to bring their own lunch, snacks and plenty of water (participants will be notified of this during the pre-trip meeting).  It is always reccomended that participants have $5-$10 on them in case a stop is made before/after an activity at a fast food or convenience store.

Transportation   -  Transportation to and from trip destinations will be provided by CRUX.

Pre-Trip Meeting   -  Prior to each trip, there will be an important pre-trip meeting that will give additional information, address expectations and answer any final questions (paticipants will be notified of the date and time upon sign up - most meetings are on Wednesday evening prior to the trip).  It is impotrant that participants have turned in their completed waiver and health form by the time of the pre-trip meeting. 

Refund Policy   -  Participants will be provided a refund if: 1) participants cancel more than a week prior to the trip's departure date, or 2) someone from the waiting list fills the original participant's spot, or 3) if CRUX officially cancels the trip due to unforseen circumstances.

Private Groups   -  In addition to our open enrollment trips, CRUX enjoys working with groups that have a common interest. Trips can be tailored to meet your group’s objectives. If you are part of an organization/club/team on campus and are interested in setting up a trip, contact the Underground.
