Recreation at the Mount

You don't have to go out for a varsity team to taste  the thrill of victory. Try your hand at intramural flag football, volleyball, soccer, tennis, horseshoes, racquetball, handball, wallyball, swimming, fun runs, basketball or softball. Club sport opportunities include: men's and womens' rugby, ice hockey, ultimate frisbee, dance, equestrian and karate.  Extramural sports will put you on local college and university campuses battling it out in various sporting events. In the past, Mounties have traveled all over to bury opponents in flag football and basketball.

Our Outdoor Adventure Program  is perfect for extreme thrill seekers and those who would rather work out all over our mountain home. And if staying in shape is your passion, drop into our outstanding athletic facility, the Knott Athletic Recreation Convocation Complex, or ARCC, loaded with a swimming pool; basketball, tennis, handball and racquetball courts; jogging track; aerobics and weight rooms; and other stress-relieving outlets. The Mount also boasts numerous outdoor courts and fields.

Approximately 200 men's and women's intramural, extramural and club sport teams compete during any given year. Men-only, women-only and co-ed activities are always available.
