Pre-Orientation Trips
MOUNTWARD BOUND
Jump start your Mount career with Mountward Bound; specially designed trips just for the Class of 2016! For each Mountward Bound experience, first-year students will arrive on campus on the specified day and be greeted by upperclass students who will serve as Mountward Bound team leaders. After getting settled into your residence hall room you’ll begin with welcome activities and dinner. After an overnight on campus, you’ll be transported to the Mountward Bound sites.

ENCOUNTER lets you start your adventure at the Mount with time to reflect, discuss, and pray about where you've been and where you're headed! Discussions will be led by upperclassmen on academics, campus life, and spirituality. |  |
Participants on EXPEDITION will spend 5 days camping, climbing, canoeing, and more in the land surrounding the Mount! Discover new, fun activities, meet your classmates, and engage in discussions about your transition to college life. No prior experience is needed and all necessary gear is provided. |  |
Working alongside your CORE team leaders, EXPLORATION participants will spend 5 days working with local community organizations including housing assistance programs, human services, and soup kitchents. Each day, we'll have time to reflect how we can be agents of positive social change and work for equitable communities in our world.
