Pre Orientation Trips

MOUNTWARD BOUND
For each Mountward Bound experience, first-year students will arrive on campus on the specified day and be greeted by upperclass students who will serve as Mountward Bound team leaders. After getting settled into your residence hall room, you’ll begin with welcome activities and dinner. After an overnight on campus, you’ll be transported to the Mountward Bound sites.

Retreat:
Start off your adventure at the Mount with some time to reflect, discuss and pray about where you’ve been and where you’re headed.

Exploration:
A multi-day wilderness excursion for new students. Participants will camp, rock climb, hike, canoe, and experience a challenging course during the trip. We will take advantage of the abundant local trails, waterways and wilderness surrounding the Mount.

Service:
Start off your college experience by immersing yourself in a larger world, where people are in need and you have something to offer them. There will be time for fun and relaxation in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and a baseball game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
