Career Counseling Appointments

Career planning … discovering who you are and what you are meant to do … is lifework. It’s a process, a journey. And it's your next challenge. As with most things in life, you'll get out of it what you're willing to put into it. At the Career Center, we’ll help you decipher just what your college experience means in terms of your career options and choices. We'll help you to see how the workplace today is changing, and what employers look for when hiring new candidates. We'll also help you know yourself well enough to know your best fit.


To make an appointment with a counselor call the Career Center at 301-447-5202.  Counselors can help with career exploration, major exploration, career assessments, resumes, job searching, mock interviews, internships, the graduate school process or any aspect of career development. If you can't come into the Career Center for an appointment, distance Career Counseling can be offered through phone or e-mail.

We also have Drop-In Hours every Tuesday and Thursday between 1 pm - 2 pm for quick questions.
