Meet the Career Center Staff

Clare Tauriello, Director of the Career Center

Clare has an M. Ed in Counselor Education from Penn State University and her Bachelor’s in Communications from Ithaca College. She has worked for many years at Penn State Mont Alto as the Career Services Coordinator and as the Division of Undergraduate Studies Coordinator. Prior to Penn State, Clare worked at Northeastern University and Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. More recently, she has been teaching at Frederick Community College in Frederick, Maryland. Clare brings a passion for working with students and has a particular interest in career development.

Alissa Hart, Assistant Director/Internship Coordinator

Alissa attended undergraduate school at Grove City College in Western PA majoring in Communications. She then pursued her master’s degree in Higher Education at Geneva College. She joined the Career Center Staff in 2007. Aiding students in their personal discovery of their career and personal interests is what brought Alissa to the field of career counseling. She enjoys bringing clarity for students seeking majors, internship, and full time positions while also providing the means to best prepare and pursue those ventures.

Naomi Frederick Ruth, Administrative Assistant

Naomi Earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Mennonite University. She joined the Career Center Staff in 2012 and enjoys working with students at the Mount.
