Campus Ministry Staff Rev. Brian P. Nolan: Campus Chaplain Fr. Brian Nolan, ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 2001, graduated from the seminary at Mount St. Mary’s University with an M.A. in Moral Theology. His undergraduate degree was from Towson University in 1992 with a B.A. in Mass Communications, and minors in Business Administration & Speech Communication. He was the associate pastor at St. Jane Frances Catholic Church in Pasadena, MD from 2005-08 and St. John Catholic Church in Westminster MD from 2001-05. In addition to his parish work in Westminster, he was the former Catholic Campus Minister at McDaniel College. He has served as the Catholic Chaplain to the Carroll County Detention Center, worked with the developmentally disabled, and participated in mission trips that include Kingston, Jamaica and Biloxi, Mississippi. He loves basketball, biking, racquetball, hiking and ultimate frisbee. Fr. Brian was the recipient of the 2006 “Messenger of Light Award” for his outstanding leadership and involvement with young adults in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Anne Marie Hallinan: Pastoral Associate & Asst. Dir. of Campus Ministry Anne Marie, one of our new Campus Ministry team members, has an Advanced Certificate in Youth Ministry with a Specialization in Catechesis from the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Her extensive experience as a teacher, a lead catechist, a retreat coordinator, along with her great love for college students makes her a great addition to the Mount. Anne Marie coordinates our retreats, RCIA, and various other programs. She brings a welcoming presence to our community and is a wonderful addition to our staff.
Hermina Boyle, OCDS: Director of Music Ministry New to the Mount Saint Mary's Staff, Hermina brings a wide range of musical experiences to the Music Ministry. With a Master of Music Degree from Penn State University, Hermina has directed children's and adult choirs, folk groups, performed with a contemporary Christian band and currently cantors and accompanies at her home parish in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. Her responsbilities include recruiting students for music ministry, organizing rehearsals and leading music at the Sunday evening University Mass as well as other special liturgies on campus throughout the year. "The one message I'd like to send students: 'Get fired up to worship the Lord!'"
Sister Elizabeth Sjoberg, DC: Campus Ministry Associate JoAnn Garcia: Administrative Assistant JoAnn is usually the first voice you hear when you call CMCS. JoAnn coordinates schedules, supervises work–study students and assists the staff in the execution of various programs. |
