SGA President

Jastin Mostowtt

Jastin is from San Diego, California. He is a senior at the Mount, majoring in Political Science and Economics. In addition to his duties as Student Government Association President, he is a Division I Tennis player on the Men's Tennis Team, a Mount Ambassador, a voting member on various University Committees, Honors Program member, and former WMTB Mount Radio DJ. He has received various honors including Dean's List, Northeast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, Ambassador of the Month, and is a NCAA National Student Athlete Development Conference Nominee. Jastin is also a US Coast Guard and American Sailing Association certified sailor and has interned for a United States Congressman. He is looking forward to working with students and administrators to build upon the great foundation laid and meet challenges as the Mount moves forward in its third century.

SGA Vice President

Maria Sylvester

Maria is a senior from Lansdale, Pennsylvania. She is pursuing an English major with a Secondary Education Certification and a minor in Gender Studies. Maria serves as the Vice President on the SGA Executive Board for a second consecutive year.  She enjoys tutoring at the Writing Center, teaching group fitness classes at the ARCC, and adventuring on CRUX trips. Maria has also served as a Kairos Retreat Leader (XXII). She is a member of Pi Lambda Theta and Delta Epsilon Sigma.

SGA Secretary

John Martin

John, from Bethesda, Maryland, is currently a junior at the Mount. He is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Information Systems.  Before joining the Executive Board, John served as the chair of the Information Technology Committee on the SGA Advisory Board.  In his free time, he is a tutor, participates in the Jenson Schmidt Tennis Academy for youths with Down syndrome, and is the Vice President of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).  John looks forward to helping improve the solid foundation SGA built this past year.

SGA Treasurer

Daniel Horner

Dan is from Easton, MD. He is currently a senior at the Mount. He is a Political Science major, with a minor in Legal Studies. Dan is also a member of the Mount Saint Mary's University Honors Program. This is his second year undertaking the role of Treasurer of the Executive Board of the SGA. He is also a pitcher on the Mount Saint Mary's University baseball team.
