John Martin, SGA President

John, from Bethesda, Maryland, is currently a senior at the Mount. Before being elected SGA president, John served as the executive board secretary and as the chair of the Information Technology Committee on the SGA Advisory Board. He is majoring in computer science with a minor in information systems. Outside of SGA, John is a co-founder of the Cubi Software Company and served as the vice president of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Mount Chapter. In addition, he volunteers at the Jensen Schmidt Tennis Academy for children and young adults with Down syndrome. 

Mark Quaranta, SGA Vice President

Mark is a senior from Virginia Beach, double majoring in economics and business. He served on the Academic Affairs Committee for the past two years; as well as being the student representative on the Undergraduate Academic Committee. Outside of SGA, Mark is a catcher on the Mount St. Mary's baseball team. Mark is also a member of the honors program and pre-law program.

Kathryn Price, SGA Secretary

Katie is a sophomore from Voorhees, New Jersey, majoring in Secondary Education. Last year she was the class of 2015 secretary, a freshmen ambassador, and worked at the Institute for Leadership. She is involved with the freshmen orientation program as a peer mentor and with the Mount ambassador program. Katie plans on continuing work at the Leadership Institute and is also a member of the University Honors Society and Pi Lambda Theta.

Emily Gordon, SGA Treasurer

Emily is a senior from New Market, Maryland. She is double majoring in accounting and mathematics. Before joining SGA, Emily enjoyed being a peer minister for her youth group at her home parish, a mathematics tutor at the Mount, and a freshman ambassador coordinator for two years. She is currently a member of Pi Mu Epsilon. Emily is an employee of Science Applications International Corporation.
