Group Purpose:  Our goal is to preserve and enrich the cultural identity of its members; Cultivate Latin American cultural and artistic manifestations such as music, dance, visual arts, crafts, literature, and other academic expressions; Help students cultivate and promote an understanding of the Latin American culture and roots within the Mount community.  Establish ties with the local Latin American community in the Frederick, Baltimore and Washinton D.C. area and serve as an avenue for those Mount students who wish to practice the Spanish language.  We also create an opportunity for students to take advantage of international research and programs focused in Latin America.
