Engaged, vibrant, enriching, cool! … there aren't enough words to capture what life is like at the Mount.

An education of a different sort—in how to be a leader, for instance—happens when you connect with one of our more than 70 student-run clubs and organizations. The Student Government Association, the International Students Association, the Social Dance Club and The Center for Campus Ministry—all demonstrate how many different ways you can get involved, from politicking to giving back (and this is the short list).

Hungry for NCAA Division I athletic competition? Go for the glory on one of our 19 intercollegiate athletic teams (the Mount has earned more championship titles than any of our rivals in the Northeast Conference). Or join the hundreds of students who cheer the Mounties on at home games. Broaden your outlook with guest speakers like Sr. Helen Prejean, national anti-capital punishment activist, or cultural events such as the Beijing Opera.

Traditions? How about the Annual Crab Feast in the fall or the end-of-semester Christmas Dance. Need to express yourself? Write an opinion piece for our student newspaper, The Mountain Echo. Host your own radio show on the student radio station, WMTB. Mimic Miles Davis for a Jazz Workshop performance. On this campus, people are genuinely interesting.
