Spring Semester I’m back from break and ready to roll for my sixth semester at the Mount. Classes started on January 16. I had surgery over winter break on my ankle, so I’m returning with a boot cast and a bit of a limp, but that should go away in no time. I had to get metal taken out of my ankle from a rugby injury freshman year. Having a boot for a little while is nothing compared to the cast and wheelchair I had my first semester freshman year…so I think I can make it! This semester I have my first big Internship for elementary education. I’m taking 5 courses, but they are front-loaded. Later on in the semester I will be teaching all day, every day. I cannot wait. I was placed in a 1st grade classroom at Thurmont Primary, which is about 10 minutes away from the Mount. I will be teaching 16 lessons. It should be a busy semester, but I’m ready for it! Most of my pictures from this month are from our Kairos retreat. As expected, it was amazing. Having the opportunity to attend and lead Kairos is definitely one of the best things I have done at the Mount. Well that’s all for now. Peace out cub scout. |
