Seminary Transcript Requests
In compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (Buckley Amendment), the seminary registrar may not disclose any information contained in a student’s pre-theology or seminary academic record to a third party without that student’s express written consent. Please note also that a transcript may not be released if the student has any outstanding financial obligations to the Mount. Official copies are generally not issued directly to the student.
Request Seminary Transcripts Online - New Service
Seminary Transcripts are now available through Parchment, our electronic transcript service, for those who attended the Seminary since 1997. You can order electronic transcripts (eTranscripts) delivered to yourself, another person, or an organization, or printed transcripts sent by mail. Once the request has been processed (usually within a day), the e-transcript is delivered immediately and a confirmation email is sent to the student.
Non-seminarian undergraduates and those enrolled in other non-seminary graduate programs should follow: Mount St. Mary's University transcript request procedures.
There is no charge for regular transcripts. Allow a minimum of 3 to 5 business days for processing. There is an additional fee for expedited printed (hardcopy) official transcripts. These are sent via FedEx expedited delivery.
Please Note: No transcript request will be honored until the financial account has been given clearance by the business and finance office.
Attended the Seminary Prior to 1997?
Your transcript information is not available on our current information system and so you cannot use the Parchment service for a secure electronic transcript. Official and unofficial copies may be ordered through the Seminary Registrar by completing the Seminary Transcript Request Form (allow several days for processing). Contact the Seminary Registrar if a PDF copy is needed of an older style transcript, or if you have any other questions.
Note: All transcripts requests must be personally signed and dated by the student prior to submission to the Seminary Registrar for processing. Transcript requests may be scanned and emailed, faxed or mailed (see form for contact information)
