Project Leaders

Katie Bushong
Co-Founder/Co-Director
Katie is a junior at Mount St. Mary’s University majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing.  She is extremely active at the University where she is the Treasurer of the Campus of Activities Board, Vice President of the MSMU American Marketing Association Chapter, and Vice President of SIFE.  Also, she sits on the University’s University Life, Orientation, and Mount Ambassador Committees.  She has worked at Fulton Financial Corporation as an E-Commerce representative for the past three years.  She currently resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with her family.

Abigail Diffenderfer
Co-Founder/Senior Mentor
Abby is a junior at Mount St. Mary’s University majoring is business administration with minors in economics and history. Abby has excelled in school, being on the Dean's list every semester. She is very active at the University where she is the Chair of the Special Events Committee, sits on the University Council, and is also on the school’s SIFE team.  Abby also enjoys doing work in her community where she sits on the Antrim Township Supervising Committee.  Her past work experiences include being an Accounting Intern at Bulldog Federal Credit Union and a manager at Garfield’s Restaurant.  She currently resides in Greencastle, Pennsylvania with her family. 

David Sofield 
Co-Founder/Co-Director/Director of Fundrasing
David is a senior at Mount St. Mary’s University majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing. He is graduating in three years. David currently is the Founder and Managing Director of Xpert Enterprises LLC., a marketing firm based out of Hanover, MD.  He is also the President of the MSMU American Marketing Association Chapter, and President of the Marketing Club.   Also, he has an extensive background in sales and sales training for numerous organizations.  David’s interests include the areas of Web 2.0 for marketing, micro-finance, and open-source software. He enjoys skiing, scuba diving, reading, and playing golf. 

Danielle Szerlik
Senior Mentor
Danielle is a junior at Mount St. Mary’s University majoring in business administration with concentrations in management and marketing.  She is active at the University where she is Chair of the Dance Committee, and the Promotions Director for the Marketing Club. Danielle is on the Dean’s List, and a member of Delta Mu Delta. Also, she has worked as a supervisor at Horizon NJ Health. She currently resides in Langhorne, Pennsylvania with her family.

Jordan Taylor
Senior Mentor
Jordan is a freshman at Mount St. Mary’s University majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance. He currently works with the University’s Intramural Program, and also plays on the Mount’s Rugby Team.  Jordan is on the Dean’s List, and looks forward to his college career.  He currently resides in Timonium, Maryland with his family.
