About

The project was founded by Mount St. Mary's students in September, 2006. Project Y.E.S.'s is based out of school's Business Department and Callings Program. Project Y.E.S was intended by it's founders to act as a channel that the University's students can  utilize in giving back to the regional community.  The Project encourages students to identify their core competencies. Then, they will be challenged to use these core competencies in a beneficial manner for society. This thoughtfulness will be conducive for the success of the project. Everyone of the students involved with the project will work directly with students in the position of mentor. It is hoped that both mentors and student participants will become positive global leaders during the 21^st century.  It is intended that the project will eventually become an institutional part of Mount St. Mary's University, and be developing leaders for years to come.
