Michael S. Malewicki
Vice President for Business and Finance

Michael S. Malewicki became Vice President for Business and Finance in July, 2005.  Prior to coming to the University, Mr. Malewicki served as Vice President for Finance and Administration at Lutheran World Relief in Baltimore, MD, a leading church based, not-for-profit international relief and development organization with operating programs in more than 40 countries.  Prior to serving at Lutheran World Relief, Mr. Malewicki spent 21 years at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, PA, where he served as assistant dean of students, director of personnel, chief accountant, and assistant treasurer.

Mr. Malewicki is responsible for leadership in the operating areas of accounting, budgeting, financial planning, endowment management, student accounts, physical plant, purchasing, new construction, and renovation.  He also serves as administrative liaison to the Board of Trustees Audit, Endowment, and Finance Committees.

As a resident of nearby Gettysburg, PA, Mr. Malewicki has served in a number of volunteer organizations, including youth, educational, and fair housing services.

Mr. Malewicki earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Gettysburg College, a Master of Science degree at Shippensburg University, and a Master of Business Administration degree at Mount St. Mary’s University.
