Mount St. Mary's Seminary welcomes 148 seminarians from 28 sending dioceses.

There are 41 new men this year. New dioceses are Charleston, South Carolina and Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia.

New faculty include:

Msgr. Mercurio Fregapane (Advising and Spiritual Direction)

Dr. John Love (Systematic Theology)

Dr. Steven Smith (Sacred Scripture)

Fr. Lawrence Donohoo, O.P., (Advising and Spiritual Direction).   

Chase Hilgenbrinck, a former Major Leauge Soccer player and new seminarian recently appeared on Fox News' America's Newsroom. 

Chase talked about his calling to the priesthood with Fox News host Bill Hemmer and said his decsion to enter the priesthood did not happen overnight.
