Mount St. Mary’s University finds itself on a Global stage Beginning Thursday, May 1, 2008 – television network, EWTN begins airing its second season of “Catholicism on Campus” a weekly show hosted by the Mount’s own V.P. of Catholic Identity, Msgr. Stuart Swetland. This season the show was filmed on the Mount campus and focuses on the seminary, the faculty and staff. “Our seminarians will discuss life here at the Mount, their faith and priestly formation. They will offer personal witness on how they chose a life – dedicated to serving God,” says Msgr. Swetland. “We will also concentrate on issues the Church is facing on a national and global level and how the seminarians are preparing for that challenge.” Tune in Thursday, May 1st at 10 pm on EWTN and then again every Thursday throughout the season. EWTN is the largest religious media network transmitting 24 hour programming across 140 countries with a mission is to communicate the teachings of the Catholic Church.
