Father Fives Scholarship Recipient Announced

National Alumni President Patrick J. Goles, C’64, has announced that Rev. Mr. James Flanagan, Archdiocese of Atlanta, will receive a Father Carl J. Fives Alumni Scholarship sponsored by the National Alumni Association. Deacon Flanagan served as chairman of the annual Mount 2007 youth spiritual retreat in February and has met regularly with university students for Apologetics discussion group sessions. He is currently coordinating the seminary preparation for the National Conference of Diocesan Vocation Directors’ “Day of Recollection” at the Mount on Sept. 25.
