Continuing Studies Honor Society Inducts New Members On March 25, Alpha Sigma Lambda, the national honor society for adult students, inducted 17 new members into the Mount’s Mu Sigma chapter. President Thomas H. Powell delivered opening remarks and Vice President for Academic Affairs David Rehm, who is also the ASL national councilor, inducted the candidates. Alpha Sigma Lambda recognizes the special achievements of adults who accomplish academic excellence while facing competing interests of home and work. It is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship and recognizes high scholastic achievement in an adult student’s career. By so doing, the society encourages many students to continue toward and to earn associate and baccalaureate degrees. Inductees for 2007 were Glenda L. Alberstadt, Denise J. Apple, Robert Eric Bower, Kara Lynne Burdette, Erin B. Code, Candice S. Corbett, Kathryn Carmine Dao, Jason A. Dean, Lisa Ferris, Shane Ryan McQuitty, Ferne Miller, Steven Clark Oden, Steven W.
