Jesse Bolger of Libertytown, Maryland has received a scholarship from the B. Larry and Catherine Jenkins Family Trust, established for the benefit of seminarian education with the Catholic Family Association in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Bolger, a member of the Mount St. Mary’s Seminary Fourth Theology Class, graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University in 1997. He is a member of St. Peter’s Parish in Libertytown, and was ordained to the diaconate in the spring of 2006. He will be ordained to the priesthood in the spring of 2007. His seminary activities and ministries include being a member of the organization team for Mount 2000 and Beyond, a Eucharistic retreat for young adults; completing pastoral field assignments with the sick and elderly and assisting with children’s religious education programs; and visiting and praying with patient at the Mount Manor Rehabilitation Center in Emmitsburg. The Catholic Family Foundation was founded in 1988 by William Cardinal Keeler and is a non-profit, independent charitable organization. It is an essential part of the Archdiocese of Baltimore's program of Catholic stewardship to provide permanent endowment and memorial funds for donors interested in furthering the religious, communication, educational and charitable objectives of the Roman Catholic Church.
