New Interlibrary Loan forms are now available in the SHARC catalog.

• Before placing an interlibrary loan request for a book, please search the SHARC catalog which includes the holdings of Columbia Union College, Hood College, Loyola/Notre Dame Colleges, Mt. St. Mary’s College, and Villa Julie.  If a book is needed from one of these Maryland Interlibrary Consortium (MIC) libraries, please see instructions for Books Quick from MIC.
• Before placing an interlibrary loan request for a journal article, please search our Journal Locator to determine if we have the journal article you need.
• An interlibrary loan request usually takes about two weeks to process.  You will be notified when items are ready for pickup

Click here to log in to your account. After you log in, choose REQUEST to request an item via Interlibrary Loan.

Reminder

• Log in using you library barcode (20852…) located on the back of your Mount ID card.
• Be sure to select the type of request you would like to make:  either for an Item not found in the catalog or for a Journal article not found at your library.
• It will take approximately ten days to two weeks for delivery.

Eligibility

• Interlibrary Loan is restricted to Mt. St. Mary’s faculty, staff, administration, and students.
