MEAL PLAN CONTRACT

2010 Spring Semester

Meal Plan changes for the Spring 2010 Semester need to be submitted to the MOUNTcard Office before you leave for the Thanksgiving break, otherwise you will be billed for the meal plan you had this semester.

For those students interested in changing their meal plan, you need to submit this contract to the MOUNTcard Office. Click here for a printable pdf.

Students residing in traditional resident halls (Terrace/Pangborn/Sheridan/Bicentennial/non-apartment style) MUST PURCHASE either the Mountaineer or the Mountie meal plan.

Mountaineer = $ 2,523.00 per semester

  • $ 915.00 flex dollars (avg. $ 57.00 a week) & 7 Dinner Meals per week

Mountie = $ 2,356.00 per semester

  • $ 790.00 flex dollars (avg. $ 49.00 a week) & 5 Dinner Meals per week

Students residing in the apartment complex, the LOFT House, the Grad House, commuters and part time students will have the option of purchasing one of the Traditional Resident Hall plans, opening a Dining Dollars account or no plan at all.

Dining Dollars Account = when ready to use account for food purchases, the account can be opened with as little as $5.00

  • (Tax Free Debit Account for Food Purchases)
  • (Is refundable if balance is $5 or more when student leaves the university)

Meal Plan:
I understand,
Meal plans can only be changed through the first week of the semester. All changes must be made in writing to the MOUNTcard office. You can stop in the office to fill out a new contract, send an email, fax, written note, or go online to the msmary.edu website. At the end of the semester, any remaining Flex Dollars will be forfeited.
Meals and Flex dollars can only be used by the cardholder.
If you choose no plan or a meal plan that is not available to you because of your housing assignment the Accounting and Finance office will automatically assign you the Mountaineer Plan.
The signee has read the above and by selecting the meal plan of his/her choice, and by signing this agreement, the student is hereby bound and held liable in accordance with the terms and conditions.
