I tried using Webmail to access my Mount email from an off-campus location. It got as far as saying “Loading,” but my messages never appeared. There are two things you can try. You can use Netscape as your browser instead of Internet Explorer; this will work but you won’t have as many features. Or you can use Internet Explorer, but when you enter the “webmail.msmary.edu” or "email.msmary.edu" web address, change the “http” to “https.” It will look like this: https://webmail.msmary.edu or https://email.msmary.edu If you get any error messages regarding security, click “Proceed.” Https is a secure connection; it’s used, for example, for online banking. When your inbox comes up, you will notice a yellow padlock icon in the lower right corner. We have seen this happen with AOL clients. We do not know the exact cause but if you minimize AOL and use Internet Explorer it should work for you. Thanks to Dr. Rupp for the FAQ and for testing and verifying the workarounds!
