Financial Aid for Graduate Students Students enrolled in the Mount’s graduate programs, including seminary programs, may seek assistance through federal loans. To qualify for financial aid, you must be enrolled on at least a half-time basis (at least three (3) credits per semester for the MBA, education and liberal studies programs and at least six (6) credits for seminary studies). Because enrollment status is critical to the financial aid process, you should map your coursework on at least a semester basis and preregister for all courses you intend to take in the semester's modules. Stafford Loans Most students enrolled in the MBA, education and liberal studies programs are eligible to borrow up to their cost of attendance (tuition and fees plus allowances for room and board, books, transportation and spending money), not to exceed $8,500 per year. These allowances are established by the financial aid office at the beginning of each academic year. Seminarians should contact the financial aid office to determine their loan limits.
