Outside Scholarship Opportunities

The financial aid office has received information on the following outside scholarships. Below are requirements, if any, for each scholarship as well as details on how to apply. The following scholarships are for the 2008-09 academic year. Please note that most deadlines have past, but continue to check back for additional scholarship information.

Barbara Marion Kendall Scholarship Fund is offering a $1,000 annual scholarship to a student who graduated from a high school in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's or Talbot County. Recipient will be of high moral character with good grades who is a political science major and/or is looking to make a career in public service with even the possibilitiy of a career in politics.  The application process includes an essay and two letters of recommendation.  Applications are available in the financial aid office. Deadline: November 15, 2008.
