The Wellness Center reception area portrays a “home” as well as a professional atmosphere for our students.

Students and seminarians do not need health insurance in order to see the doctor here at Health Services.  Health insurance is not required but strongly recommended at Mount St. Mary's University.  If your student does not have health insurance, they may purchase a school-sponsored plan through the Mount's health insurance advocate, Hulse/QM. You may reach Hulse/QM at 800-766-7090 or their website www.hulseqm.com.  

If students have their own health insurance policy, they must make a copy of the front and back of their insurance card and submit this to Health Services each year to insure that all information in their medical chart is current.  Also, because of the high cost of prescription medication, we require a copy of the front and back of your prescription card as well.  This will help Heath Services decide whether it is necessary to write a prescription for a student or dispense in-stock medication.
