FRENCH MAJOR

A major in French consists of 30 credits beginning at the 200 level. Normally, majors must take at least 18 credits in French at Mount St. Mary’s, of which a minimum of six credits must be taken during the senior year for those students who have a single major, and three credits for those with a double major. Majors must complete at least one course in literature and one in civilization/culture.

FRENCH MINOR

A minor in French consists of 18 credit hours. Students minoring in French are required to take a minimum of six credit hours at Mount St. Mary’s.
