Programs in Classical Languages

CLASSICAL STUDIES MAJOR

A major in classical studies is offered through the college’s interdisciplinary studies program. Students who are interested in designing a major in classical studies should check with the chair of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and work in consultation with an appropriate faculty member to design a major.  All such majors should have no less than 33 credits.

LATIN MINOR

A minor in Latin consists of 18 credit hours. Students minoring in Latin are required to take a minimum of 12 credit hours at Mount St. Mary’s.
