The Mount Portal (portal.msmary.edu) is a Web portal that allows students to access enhanced services both inside and outside the Mount campus. Students can access course material, view a professor’s web page, view grades and make account payments through this site. To access this site, students must have a Mount email account (login and password are mailed to students upon registering for their first class). Information Technology

Free access to electronic mail and the Internet is provided campuswide via high-speed cable and wireless access. Seven public and departmental labs, with 150 PCs, are available, as well as facilities such as our Verizon tele-classroom.

The Mount’s website (www.msmary.edu) provides access to the university’s campuswide information system, including the Mount Portal (see above).

Standard software used on campus includes Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Students needing technical assistance may call the help desk at 301-447-5220 or email helpdesk@msmary.edu.
