He returns to the Mount after serving as the President at Lees-McRae College in North Carolina. During his previous 18 years at Mount St. Mary’s, he held the positions of Interim Dean of Academic Services, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Science. |
 | Edward Egan Director of Pre-Law Program Ed is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University with a B.S. in Political Science. He earned his Law Degree from Catholic University in 1980. His professional experiences include an accomplished attorney, business owner, insurance and surety expert, and community leader. Ed is a member of the Pennsylvania, Maryland, and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He is the co-founder/co-owner of the Shanachie Irish Pub in Amber, Pennsylvania. |

Brighenti was an Assistant Pastor from 1988-2000 and Pastor from 2000-09 for the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey. |
