Notes:

  • * Indicates course is accompanied by field experience
  • EDUC 100 also serves to meet Core social science requirement.
  • GSCI 101 – 102 and Math 108 serve to meet Core requirements but are also considered essential to the foundation of content courses required of the Elementary Education major.
  • This schedule assumes that the student has met foreign language requirements and any preliminary math requirements before beginning the program or in the summer.  If necessary, foreign language requirements may be met in the elective concentration spots.  This is not preferred but it is allowed.
  • Students are encouraged to select four elective courses to build a content concentration in either English, foreign language, mathematics, science, psychology, art, music or social studies.
