| Business Program The business curriculum affords a student the opportunity to broaden his or her understanding of the environment of modern business and of the principles and processes for effective management of organizations. Required courses span the areas of management, marketing, business law, business information systems, analytical techniques of decision making and financial management. Students have the opportunity to pursue concentrations within the major: For those who choose to pursue a concentrated field of study and who satisfy the requirements, their official college records and transcripts will show not only their major but their concentration as well. The requirements are as follows: - a minimum of four courses in the concentration
- an overall minimum GPA of 3.0 in the four courses
- active club membership in the concentration
- a three-credit, graded internship in the selected concentration. For the international business concentration, a semester or summer abroad taking courses can be done in lieu of an internship.
We encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their depth of knowledge and experience in one of these selected areas. Concentrations reinforce our degree in business in a way that will be professionally and personally valuable. Click here for possible course sequences.
