| Department Resources Business PC Lab The department supervises the Business PC Lab (room 329, Knott Academic Center). This is a teaching lab, used mainly to support the courses taught within the department and to help our students gain the computing and networking skills they must have to enter or advance in the work force. Its facilities are available to all members of the community when not in use for classes. Frederick Conference Center Business Advisory Committee The Business Advisory Committee comprises 20 business leaders and a few academic leaders in other colleges and universities. Its purpose is to provide advice and guidance to the department chair on any aspect of the functioning of the department and the composition of its programs. The committee meets formally each semester in what has become a very comprehensive program of evaluation for the department. The committee members have also been active in coming to campus to speak to students in various classes and settings and have been of assistance to many students in their job search. |
