
Celebrating the Bicentennial at Winter Homecoming 2008 
February 2, 2008 As we continue to commemorate the 200th birthday of our beloved institution, we would like to invite you to join us at Winter Homecoming 2008! Schedule of Events: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. National Alumni Association Winter Meeting (Open to all alumni. More information.) 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. 32nd Annual Blue & White Alumni All-Star Women's Basketball Game All former women's basketball players are invited to participate. If you are "retired," come anyway and sit on the bench, or be a designated free-throw shooter! Family, friends, and spectators are welcome. Game will take place in Knott Arena. Please RSVP to the Office of Alumni Relations if you would like to play in the game. 1:00 - 1:46 p.m. 32nd Annual Blue & White Alumni All-Star Men's Basketball Game All former men's basketball players are invited to participate. Please RSVP to the Office of Alumni Relations if you would like to play in the game. 1:00 p.m. Blue & White Luncheon After the games lunch will be served in the Horning Hospitality Suite for all players and spectators. 3:00 p.m. Mount Women vs. Robert Morris 5:00 p.m. Mass in the Immaculate Conception Chapel 6:00 p.m. Alumni Pre-Game Social Hosted by the National Alumni Association, food and drinks (beer/wine/soda) will be available. Come gather with your fellow alumni before the game, and enjoy a preview of the Bicentennial Historic Documentary, as well as a Pre-Game Report from Men's Basketball Head Coach Milan Brown. Family and friends are welcome! 6:45 p.m. Pre-Game Ceremony Don't miss the announcement of our 2008 Mount St. Mary's Sports Hall of Fame Inductees! 7:00 p.m. Mount Men vs. Robert Morris The Halftime show will feature performances from the cheerleaders and dance team, as well as two Bicentennial Medal Presentations - to longtime Men's Basketball Head Coach and Mount legend Jim Phelan, and the Mount's Executive Vice President Dan Soller.
