Support Our Mission Our Mission The Grotto is a sacred place of God’s beauty and peace, where pilgrims are welcomed to visit, pray and recreate. Here, upon Mary’s Mountain, the sacraments are offered, along with Marian devotion and informational-spiritual tours. The chaplain, staff and volunteers seek to preserve and promote a place of natural beauty and update it in keeping with the history and spirituality of Fr. Dubois, Mother Seton, Mount St. Mary’s University and the Catholic faith. The Grotto is able to fulfill its mission through the generous support of donors, volunteers and other faithful friends.
