Answers to Prayers at The Grotto

“For everyone who asks receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Mt. 7:8 Every prayer is heard and answered. The essence of prayer is to discern God's Will for us in the details of our life. Our Lord leaves clues and leads us gently to a deeper union with Him.

Gail shares: “The Grotto made such an impression on my family that they bought two of the large glass vigil candles.  They are lit for special intentions.  One intention was the recovery of the daughter of a friend.  The little girl recovered!”

Madeleine M. confides: “Three years ago my son was the plaintiff in a court suit.  Things were not going well and I made several visits to the Shrine praying for the help of Our Lady of Lourdes.  The case lasted eighteen months but he was successful in obtaining a just decision.”

Mrs. H. writes: “I am writing for a favor in thanksgiving for a blessing received.  I asked through a Novena to the Blessed Mother that our son-in-law find work.  Our prayer was answered and they are on their way to an opportunity in Florida.”
