Marketing Management Class helps local business

The students in a graduate-level marketing management class gain experience working with local business owner, Dr. Deb Baginski, on marketing strategies for her products.

Students offer Marketing Advice to Local Business
Mount St. Mary’s University’s Bolte School of Business graduate students taking Marketing Management this spring had the opportunity to develop and present a marketing management plan to Gooseberry Natural Feed of Westminster, MD.

“The project provided an in-depth evaluation of the existing marketing management practices and how those practices are resourced,” said instructor Professor Ed Reynolds. “The students reviewed the marketing mix and situational variables as they related to the company, in addition to the consumer behavior and competitive analysis. Ready, Set, Disney
Mount Alum, Devin Hollenbaugh, set his sights on the land where dreams come true

Devin Hollenbaugh, C ’09, was recently hired as a program manager for the Disney Sports business unit of the Walt Disney Company, specifically for runDisney. RunDisney hosts a series of full-length and short-distance themed races on the Disney grounds, where “every mile is magic.”

“As a project-based analyst, it’s my job to prepare the tools necessary for executive management to make the right business decisions for each event, ” he said. 2012 INDUCTION CEREMONY
The Center for Professional and Continuing Studies in Frederick hosted its annual Alpha Sigma Lambda Society Induction Ceremony on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Eleven adult students were recognized for their special achievements in academic excellence while facing the competing interests of home and work. Family and friends were present to hear inspiring words from guest speaker Professor Mary Beth Graham, Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Bolte School of Business at the Mount. Janene Horne, the professional studies academic advisor, presented certificates and society pins to the inductees.
