On January 16, 2012, the Bolte School of Business recognized the achievement of the first group of six students to complete our fifteen graduate credit post-baccalaureate certificate program.  At an evening ceremony at our Frederick Campus, the students were presented with a certificate of program completion.

New Year brings New Advisor and Unique Program to the Mount
In early January, a cohort of 23 wounded veterans of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, began an undergraduate-level business program through a unique partnership with Mount St. Mary’s and, specifically, the University’s Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business. The University will provide instruction over three years for the Warriors to Workforce (W2W) program developed by the Acquisition Academy of the Veterans Administration. Through this program, the VA and the University will educate and prepare returning veterans for a career as acquisition, contract, and procurement specialists....Click here to read more.

Harry Coffey has been working in the healthcare industry since 1973.  He started as an assistant comptroller in a small community hospital in Rhode Island and entered the U.S. Navy while studying at The George Washington University for his masters.  After 25 years in the Navy as a Medical Service Corps Officer, he ended up as the Deputy Medical Inspector General.  For the past 12 years he has worked for the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, the DynPort Vaccine Company, and currently for the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command at Fort Detrick....Click here to read more.
