Chapel of the Immaculate Conception
$2,500,000

The Chapel of the Immaculate Conception has not had any major work done since 1978 with the exceptions of air conditioning and external illumination. This spring and summer a considerable portion of restoration work occurred including installation of a new roof, a new organ, lighting, sound system, cleaning and painting of the Chapel, Shrines and Stations of the Cross. As gifts continue to be received, renovations to the floor and pews will also take place.
The Chapel continues to serve as the spiritual heart of the Mount St. Mary’s University campus. The regular celebration of Mass in the Chapel sustains and enriches our community of faith at the nation’s second-oldest Catholic university and seminary.
