Campus Safety Alert
Mount Safety Alert Information
The University's administration continues to monitor our winter weather conditions. The following information is offered in order to help the Mount community plan for Monday morning activities:
FINAL EXAMS BEING HELD AT REGULARLY SCHEDULED TIMES - At present, the plan is to administer all of tomorrow's (Monday, December 9, 2013) final exams, including those scheduled for 8 a.m., at their regularly scheduled times. Arrangements are being made to have the exams of any faculty member who is unable to safely come to the Mount proctored at their regular times by other University personnel.
NON-ACADEMIC OFFICE OPENINGS DELAYED - In order to give crews time to clear & treat our roads and parking lots, the University's non-academic offices will open and other operations will commence tomorrow, Monday, December 9, 2013, at 11 a.m.
COMMUTER STUDENTS - Commuter students who are unable to safely come to campus for a scheduled exam should contact their faculty member to discuss alternate arrangements.
FREDERICK CAMPUS - Inasmuch as any final exams scheduled at the Frederick campus are being held later in the day no change in exam schedules is anticipated. Frederick students who are unable to safely come to campus for a scheduled exam should contact their faculty member to discuss alternate arrangements.
These decisions were arrived at using the information currently available. We will continue to evaluate conditions as the day moves on and make changes if they are deemed necessary. As always, if conditions do not permit you to drive safely to the Mount for work or class please stay where you are.
