Spiritual Life and Vocations
Retreats (Retreat Leadership Committee/Mens’ and Women’s Kairos Leaders): The Mount offers ten overnight or weekend retreats so students can grow in their faith and relationship with the Lord. Student retreat leaders plan, coordinate and lead our successful retreats. Retreats include Mountward Bound, Men's & Women's Kairos Retreats, Outdoor Retreat, Senior Retreat, Spring Service, Leadership Retreat and High School Retreats.
Faith and Relationships: Events include programs that explore the connection between dating, faith and relationships.
Couples Ministry: Opportunities for couples to get together for faith and fellowship.
Vocational Formation & Men’s and Women’s Discernment Groups:
The Mount offers opportunities for students to cultivate healthy relationships in preparation for marriage including a Marriage Panel, talks on growing in chastity and the dignity of marriage. Groups of men and women meet to help discern their calling from God.
Marian Prayer Group: Militia Immaculata (MI): Inspired by St. Maximilian Kolbe, this group of students and seminarians grow in their knowledge and love of their Catholic faith through a devotion to Mary. They meet regularly for spiritual talks, formation and prayer.
Eucharistic Adoration: Regular opportunities for prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
Reflection Books: Meditations by Mount students, administrators, faculty and staff on the scriptural readings for each day during the liturgical seasons.
Pilgrimage/Road-Trips: Mount students travel on pilgrimage and road-trips to various Shrines and holy sites around the United States and internationally. Fall break Mini-Pilgrimages and Summer Pilgrimages have included trips to Niagara Falls, New York City, Quebec and Montreal, Canada, Rome and Assisi.
